Soprano, born in Würzburg, Germany. She was taught singing by her mother, and made her debut at Prague in 1865. She sang in Danzig, Lepzig, London, New York City, and elsewhere, and took part in the first performance of Wagner's Ring (1876) at Bayreuth. |
