Hugo Emil Alfvén ( 1872 -- 1960 )

Composer and violinist, born in Stockholm. He was a prolific composer in the late Romantic tradition, his works including five symphonies and the ballet Prodigal Son (1957). His best-known piece is Midsommarvaka (1904, Midsummer Vigil), better known as the Swedish Rhapsody.
