Pinchas Zuckerman ( 1948 -- )

Violinist; born in Tel Aviv, Israel. After studies with Galamian at Juilliard, he won the Leventritt Competition in 1967 and pursued a glamorous solo career. He conducted the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra from 1980 to 1987.
