Vladimir Vogel ( 1896 -- 1984 )

Composer, born in Moscow. He studied in Moscow and under Busoni in Berlin. He composed orchestral works, chamber music, and secular oratorios, including Wagadu Destroyed (1935), with saxophone accompaniment.
