Pianist and composer, born in Park-St-Maur, France. She was named by the critic, Henri Collet, as one of Les Six - a group of composers who reacted against Romanticism and Impressionism. Her works include chamber music, a ballet, Le Marchand d'oiseaux (The Bird-Seller), a piano concerto, and songs.
